The adults: are medium sized with eyes clear with several small black spots, they have four legs and they are brown with five or six black spots on the hindwing. Larvae: Their body thickest at the middle with green with yellow markings, no spines on body. The head with short branched horns at the top and short spines on the sides; forked rear end. The caterpillar hides in a leaf and silk nest. Pupae: There have two point on the head; green with yellow markings; flattened sideways and angular. Supported only by a silk button at the rear end.
