Also known as Baptisia Australis or blue false indigo this plant is an excellent host plant for your garden.
* Description: Shrub with fragrant deep purple flowers with bright green leaves. The pungent, compound leaves of this species reach about 6" long, with linear-oblong leaflets 3/8"-3/4" long. Spikes of yellow- anthered, dark purple flowers appear at the branch tips, each spike measuring up to 6" long.
