Description: The toothed, basal leaves of this species are grasslike from 6" long to 3/8" wide, often emerging from standing water. Flowering stems reach about 24"-36" tall, branching near the top. Round, attractive heads of blue flowers measure 1/2" wide.
Bloom Season: May-September
Habitat/Range: Marshes, ditches, and swamps of the eastern United States, south through munch of Central Florida.
