Description: Partridge pea is an annual that reaches about 24" tall, with compound leaves bearing numerous narrow, linear-oblong, 1/2"-3/4" leaflets. There are nectar glands at the base of the petioles. Solitary, flaccid yellow flowers are produced from the leaf axils, with 5 unequal 1/2" petals, sometimes red at the base.
