Facts about Asimina Obovata:
Description: This shrubby species reaches 6' tall or more, with an open branching habit. It has conspicuous red hairs on new shoots, petiole, and the veins on the undersides of the leaves. Leaves are obovate to oblanceolate and measure 1 1/2"-5" long and 1"2" wide. Very showy flowers have a lemony fragrance and spreading, obovate, white sepals that measure 2"-3" long and 1"-1 3/4" wide.

Habitat/ Range: Endemic to white sand and yellow sand ridges and scrub of peninsular Florida from Clay County to Glades County.
